IMPROVEMENTS FOR FALL 2025 At the Leonore facility, we have added another 105 foot diameter corn bin with a capacity of 846,000 bushels. This will help to reduce the amount of corn that has to be hauled out of the facility during the harvest season. At the RuffRail Toluca location we have built a new 78 foot diameter bin with a capacity of 427,000 bushels which will be used for soybeans during harvest, then will be converted to corn later in the season to be used while loading corn trains. We have added a 61 foot diameter soybean tank with a capacity of 262,000 bushels at the Budd location to allow us to dump more soybeans during harvest and reduce the need to haul soybeans out to make space. The Gridley location has replaced the old wet tank uptown with a new 54 foot diameter wet tank which holds 175,000 bushels of corn. The old bin had reached the end of it’s useful life and needed to be replaced. These improvements are part of our long-term plan to provide grain facilities that can handle the high-capacity farm equipment and larger grain volume during the harvest season. FALL HAULING SERVICES We will be offering our fall trucking services this season at a rate of 15 cents per bushel on grain hauled into the closest of our facilities. We ask that you have an auger wagon or another method for loading the trucks quickly. As usual, we will schedule jobs only as the trucks become available. If trucks are not available, you will have to wait until they become available. If you are interested in using this service, please give us as much notice as possible before you are ready to haul. OLD CROP STORAGE AND PRICE LATER POLICY If you leave your old crop grain in Open Storage or on Warehouse Receipt, you will be charged a 15 cent per bushel carryover fee and your monthly charges of 4 cents per bushel will continue until the grain is sold. If you move your old crop grain to a Price Later Contract, you will not be charged a carryover fee and your grain will continue to be charged the monthly fee of 4 cents per bushel until the grain is sold. Charges start Oct 1, 2025.
