IMPROVEMENTS FOR FALL 2018
At the Gridley facility we have removed the old corn dump pit and grain leg at the East Plant and have replaced it with a new 20,000 bph leg and pit that is long enough to dump a hopper bottom truck.  We have also replaced two of the old grain dryers with one new Zimmerman 4850 bph grain dryer and a new dry leg.  These improvements will allow us to move corn through our system more quickly than in the past.
At the Ancona facility we have replaced the old bean leg and pit with a new 15,000 bph grain leg and dump pit to boost the soybean dumping capacity during harvest. We have also added a new 78’ diameter soybean tank with a capacity of 425,000 bushels. These additions should improve the flow during bean harvest.
We have added a 90’ diameter corn tank at the Garfield facility with a capacity of 572,000 bushels. We are also adding a 90’ diameter corn tank with a capacity of 572,000 bushels at the Leonore Facility. An additional scale will be installed at the Blackstone container facility to help keep the harvest traffic flowing while we are weighing the container trucks.  These improvements are part of our long-term plan to provide grain facilities that can handle the harvesting speed and grain volume during the harvest season.

FALL HAULING SERVICES
We will be offering our fall trucking services this season at a rate of 10 cents per bushel on grain hauled into the closest of our facilities.  We ask that you have an auger wagon or another method for loading the trucks quickly.  As usual, we will schedule jobs only as the trucks become available.  If trucks are not available you will have to wait until they become available. If you are interested in using this service, please give us as much notice as possible before you are ready to haul.
